Mother Pearlie L. Fowler

March 11, 1929 - March 26, 2022

Mother Pearlie L. Fowler was born March 11,1929 to Charlie & Isabelle Collins in Jasper, Texas. Both parents preceded her in death. She attended Jasper, Texas public schools. She moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1945 where she found her 1st church family with New White Stone M.B.C for 12 years, and later she joined New Corinth M.B.C until Word Church of Mesa, Arizona was her final church home. She met and later married Edward Fowler II in 1956 to this union they were blessed with 3 sons Leonard Fowler (affectionately known as Pulcum) who preceded her death. Edward Fowler III (Peewee), Gerald Fowler. For the 38 years of their marriage, they planted a seed on a street called Northlawn where it blossomed into three beautiful generations. Also being a staple in the neighborhood, from those summer cookouts that left you wanting more and the holiday get-togethers that left you feeling extremely loved with family and friends. One thing for certain she was a one-of-a-kind host, from basement parties to family reunions she enjoyed a good time. We could go on and on about the light she shined in everyone's lives with many stories to tell. Traveling has always been her hobby especially with her best friend Elise Bowden. To no surprise she made Oasis Palms in Mesa, Arizona her home where she remained until God called her home to be with her husband and son. On March 26,2022 her 93 years with us came to an end. Two of her three sisters preceded her in death along with three brothers who also preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories sister Maebell Shepard-Collins. Two sons Edward Fowler III (Jeanette Roseman) Gerald Fowler (Lisa Fowler). A special loving niece Ida. Four granddaughters Star, Adrian, April, and Shaniece, one grandson Edward Fowler IV. Four great granddaughters Destiny, Rae’Lynn, Ada’Lynn, Ma'Ryah and two great grandsons William, and Terrell with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
